    Photoetry

    My thesis project. An interactive website with emphasis on collaboration over simply "viewing." A combination of photography and magnetic poetry, the user must think about what to say, rather than blindly typing at a keyboard.

    Bush Guevara

    Propaganda relies on a strong, instant connection with the viewer to be successful. I set out to create a propaganda piece with no clear message, and with no real meaning by combining two polar opposite figures: US President George W. Bush and the revolutionary Che Guevara. Interestingly, the most common reaction has been amusement– either the viewer does not know how to react, and has chosen laughter, or, has assigned their own meaning to the piece based on their personal beliefs.

    Zack and Sara

    A short children's book about a little boy named Zack. Zack is a shy boy who likes a girl named Sara, but who cannot bring himself to talk to her because of his over-active imagination. Emphasis was given on pacing by incorporating gate folds on every-other page.
