A co-worker and fellow typophile sent me this video this morning. I don’t know what to say, other than I am awestruck and jealous. I like to think I have good handwriting, but this guy puts me to shame. I only wonder how many hours and trees he had to go through to achieve this level of prowess at calligraphy. Amazing, especially with the juxtoposition of the child doing lettering beside him.

My Site Doesn’t Play Well with IE


And I don’t care. Officially. I’ve taken precedent (kind of) from Mike Davidson, and am purposefully leaving my site erroneous(in some eyes). Just to let everyone know, I’ll be including a link in the footer to this article. That’s right, each and every page will announce that my site doesn’t play well with others… and by “others” I mean specifically Microsoft Internet Expolorer. I hearby officially end my support for IE until some things change.

Recycle!


Great news for Knoxville folks! The drop-off recycling centers (found at many Kroger stores in the area) are now accepting  plastic containers with recycle codes 1-7 stamped on them!  In addition, they will also be taking other plastics such as grocery bags, heavy plastic wrapping, such as the kind on paper towels and toilet paper, plastic bottle lids and more!
